Reesa Abraham

Reesa is the Otter Party’s Conservation Minister. She grew up in Auckland and is passionate about maintaining New Zealand’s biodiversity. Reesa has a background in Environmental Science, allowing her to make the right policy decisions to ensure that New Zealand continues to have a thriving ecological landscape. As a Conservation Minister, her role involves ensuring the protection of Native forests, reducing transmissions from the Energy sector and strategic infrastructure management that supports New Zealand’s ecological life instead of hurting it. A policy that Reesa is passionate about is the transition to electric vehicles as it releases less greenhouse gases which contribute to climate change. Preventing global warming is vital to protecting our native forests and biodiversity.
